When I'm my only company

This is what I do when my wife is gone and I have a whole Saturday to myself:

Some may say I wasted my Saturday away (though I did go see Purdue lose both their football game and their starting quarterback today also), but I count it as a learning opportunity. I finally got to fiddle around with iMovie '09 for the first time.

And it was definitely worth the $3 investment in lime green wrapping paper.

I'll bet your wife is so proud. :) Really, though, I thought it was totally awesome!

Kids love a visual of Uncle Chris with his songs. Love the Wilkins Reunion shirt! Rock on.

You still have a week and a half. I'm worried what you'll fill the rest of the time with. You're a nerd.

Looks like you, yourself & Chris had a great time! Thanks for the laugh! But, I don't get the green wrapping paper part?

Wow - I should do more recording. This is the most comments my blog has gotten for a while.

Karisa - I'm definitely representing the Wilkins reunion love, since we missed out on the reunion this year.

Anna, I put the green wrapping paper on the wall to create the "green screen" so I could do the fancy schmancy effects.

That will teach her to leave you all alone ever again!

Is the green screen a new thing to iMovie 09?

I don't know if it's new to 09. But I had to go in the Preferences and make sure that "Show Advanced Tools" was checked. Maybe it's the same with previous versions. I'm not sure.

Glad to see that you're using your time wisely!! It was fun to watch the many faces of Chris Hartwell. If you do more you will probably need more clothes for all of the wardrobe changes:)

That was so cool! I definitely think you should do more. Nice pick of clothes. I like the facial expressions too. :) I could totally see Deidra as a back up dancer once she's home ;)

Bentley's been trying to figure out who the real Chris is. He knows he's the one that lives in Indiana---but other than that he's stumped.

Will the real Chris Hartwell please stand up?
